Van Nicholas Skeiron gets Five New Looks

Van Nicholas (Netherlands) – "Five Star Ride Gets Five New Looks".

Fresh from scooping a coveted Gold Award at Eurobike, the Van Nicholas Skeiron has unveiled five new ‘special edition’ looks for fans of the Titanium steed. Released in 2017, the Skeiron boasts state-of-the-art technical features that place it at the cutting edge of Titanium race bike technology, and now it offers bright, bold graphics to complement its innovative pedigree. Twotone decals adorn the top tube, down tube and fork in a positive, angular design that emphasises the bike’s racing capabilities, and are available in orange/black, red/black, brown/black, pink/ grey and yellow/light brown combinations.

To celebrate the launch of their decals, Van Nicholas is currently running a promotion. If you order a Skeiron with one of the five new looks through their online configurator, they will send you a hip flask in matching livery, absolutely free. "Perfect for anyone who loves every part of their riding set up to be synchronised, or anyone who appreciates a drop of something restorative at the end of a long ride", shared the company.

"We love the clean lines and minimalist aesthetics of pure, unadorned Titanium", says Ralph Moorman, General Manager, "but we wanted to offer some visual excitement for Van Nicholas riders who enjoy a burst of colour on their bikes. Naturally, the Skeiron is also available in traditional unadorned Van Nicholas livery, but we believe these new options look great and add a bit of fun to our range."

That’s not to say the innovation has been forgotten in their quest for fun – the decals cover an award-winning bike, after all. Integrated cabling for clean lines and improved aerodynamic performance; press-fit bottom bracket, tapered chain stays, head and top tubes, along with thru-axles for optimised rigidity at key stress points; disc brakes with flat mounts for aerodynamic advantage; and a host of configuration options to accommodate the latest 1x11 or Di2 electronic gearing. "It's not hard to see why this technically advanced Titanium racer received such plaudits at Eurobike", concluded Van Nicholas.

Complete bikes with the ‘special edition’ decals are available from €3.599, and framesets with front fork come in at €2.199.
