The New Release Carbon MTB Bike from Diamondback is Here
Diamondback Bicycles (USA) – Press Release: Your Definition of Creative Lines Just Got Bolder.

Built on our patented Level Link suspension system, the Diamondback Release Carbon was designed with multiple personalities. Whether you define mountain biking as all-day epics, roots and rocks, slapping berms, or full send mode, you can find your definition on the Release Carbon.

The Release Carbon starts with the same praise-worthy progressive geometry as our aluminum model. We’ve reduced overall frame weight by over half a pound and engineered extra stiffness into the head tube and bottom bracket areas, making it easier than ever to maneuver up and down trail features.

Get it right here so you can ride faster and happier:
  • Competitively priced stock and custom builds
  • Free shipping right to your door on all Release Carbon builds
  • Easy, four-step assembly with Ready Ride

Level Link Suspension System:

The Level Link suspension system is the centerpiece of the Release Carbon. Designed in conjunction with Level One Engineering, it was developed to solve the complex linear algebra equation that optimizing mountain bike suspension presents. With Level Link the suspension remains active under pedaling and braking, providing outstanding climbing capabilities and consistent traction in technical terrain and fast corners.

What makes a bike ride well? It all comes down to how a Level Link bike feels underneath you: a deft and efficient pedaler that descends like a big bike.

Release 5C Carbon:

You can’t have it all … Really? Nobody told that to the Release 5 C. Our top-shelf trail bike is the embodiment of new-school technology. Thanks to our Level Link suspension, the Release 5 C absolutely levels the kind of drops and rock gardens that stymie bikes with even more suspension travel. At the same time, our patent-pending design allows the Release to accelerate and climb with the kind of blazing efficiency you’d normally expect from a wispy, featherweight race rig.

The Release 5 C, in a nutshell, is the perfect all-rounder. The bike’s modern geometry - long in the front, short in the rear, low in the bottom bracket —lends the bike stability at high speeds without sacrificing agility when the trails get tight.

What’s more, we’ve decked this machine out with a peerless parts kit that includes the absolutely bomber Fox 36 Float fork and Fox Performance Elite Float DPX2 rear shock, an ultra-precise SRAM X01 Eagle 12-speed drivetrain, a wheelset with Race Face ARC 30 rims and Novatec hubs, and quick-stopping SRAM Guide RS hydraulic disc brakes with 180mm rotors. A KS LEV Integra dropper post and Race Face Aeffect R cockpit components round out the stellar package.

Ready Ride bikes are shipped 95 percent assembled. Typical bike assembly is time-consuming and requires technical know-how. Ready Ride reduces the time and skills needed for the final, four-step assembly.
