The New PEdAL ED Kino Power Wool™ Collection

The New PEdAL ED Kino Power Wool™ Collection

PEdAL ED (Japan) - Press Release: The Kino collection is the first cycling apparel to be crafted entirely of Power Wool™ by Polartec®, a layered material that combines the strength and performance of synthetic fibers with the comfort, warmth and natural breathability of merino wool.

Featuring Jersey, Bib Shorts and Neck Warmer, the Kino Power Wool™ collection is winter-ready and available now.

Kino Power Wool™ Jersey:

The world’s first winter-ready long sleeve cycling jersey made from Polartec® Power Wool™ for optimal breathability, durability and comfort.

As the first-ever Polartec® Power Wool™ cycling jersey, the Kino Power Wool™ Jersey utilizes a bi-component knit fabric for premier performance, combining the best of nature with leading-edge tech from the lab. By layering instead of blending, Power Wool® achieves both the comfort and breathability of Merino wool as well as the fit and durability of technical synthetic fabrics. Partnering with Polartec®, we have harnessed the power of Power Wool™ for a multi-season, long sleeve cycling jersey that’s ready for where you ride—be it on paved roads, gravel trails or totally off the grid.

Inside the Kino Power Wool™ Jersey, a Merino layer sits softly against your skin for all-day comfort and cross-season performance. Outside, technical synthetics form a barrier to protect you from the elements, and your jersey from premature wear. The advanced stretch provided by Power Wool™ gives the Kino Jersey an excellent fit, moving as you do and maintaining its shape better than other wool-based cycling jerseys.

Merino is naturally moisture-wicking, thermoregulating and odor resistant, making the Kino an ideal piece of cycling kit for long journeys and changing weather. Three large rear pockets provide plenty of space for storage, while an additional zippered pocket lets you stash valuables securely. A full-length zipper allows for easy temperature control and the Kino’s large, reflective rear stripe increases visibility for low-light riding.

Kino Power Wool™ Bibshorts:

The Kino Power Wool™ Bib Shorts are the first cycling bib shorts constructed from Power Wool™ by Polartec®, an innovative fabric combining the comfort and breathability of Merino wool with the performance of synthetic fabrics. Layered, not blended, Power Wool™ is a bi-component knit fabric featuring a naturally breathable Merino interior and a durable synthetic exterior for a double-walled defense against the elements. The Kino Bib Shorts can be paired with leg warmers on winter training rides or worn on their own for warmer weather rides.

Made from Polartec® Power Wool™, the Kino Bib Shorts are lined with super soft Merino wool for natural comfort, odor resistance and breathability. Outside, advanced synthetics maintain a performance fit while increasing the Kino’s durability for years of on-the-saddle adventures.

Multi-panel construction and a dynamic cut mean the Kino bibs move with you, avoiding bunching or chafing while their high-waisted design provides warmer core protection.

Iridescent PEdAL ED logos on the legs add flash for increased visibility. Laser cut straps, ergonomic seams and a dual-density, bacteriostatic pad from Elastic Interface® provides maximum comfort and support for days when the road turns to gravel and your lunch ride turns into something a bit more.

Kino Power Wool™ Neck Warmer:

A winter-weight cycling neck warmer crafted from Polartec’s® groundbreaking Power Wool™ fabric and made to match our Kino Power Wool™ Jersey and Bib Shorts.

For times when conditions change and the temperature drops, our Kino Power Wool™ Neck Warmer takes a winter-weather staple two steps further with the double-layered power of Power Wool™ by Polartec®. As any experienced cyclists knows, a multifunctional neck tubular is one of the most versatile pieces in a rider’s kit. Wear it for warmth around your neck and to stop unwanted drafts down your cycling jersey, or, when the mercury drops, over your nose, mouth and ears. Power Wool™ layers the natural performance of Merino with technical synthetics for a breathable, insulating, odor-resistant addition to the rest of our Kino Power Wool™ collection.

Polartec® Power Wool™ combines the strength and durability of synthetic fibers with the comfort, warmth and natural breathability of Merino wool, layering both components, as opposed to blending, to maximize the potential of each material. The Kino Neck Warmer is the first cycling neck wrap made from Power Wool™. Inside the Kino, a soft-to-the-touch Merino layer protects sensitive skin from irritation, as well as the cold, while also acting as a naturally fast-drying and odor-fighting fabric. The synthetic exterior pulls excess moisture to the surface, where it can quickly evaporate.

Power Wool™ is more elastic that ordinary Merino, meaning the Kino Neck Warmer fits close, eliminating gusts and ensuring a secure fit whether worn around your neck or over your face. A reflective rear stripe adds visibility for low-light riding conditions.
