FR1 benefits from Full Carbon Technology (FCT) and this offers a proprietory blend of Torayca T700 and T800 High Modulus Carbon. T700 is used for the main tube sections while T800 is used for the main stress areas being the Head Tube, Bottom Bracket and Seat Tube/Top Tube cluster. "This ensures additional strength and reduced flex, so power transfer and comfort is improved. Not only this, but with the use of T800 carbon, this also keeps weight to the absolute minimum so you can be assured of a lightweight frame that is also extremely strong, stiff and responsive. Perfect for road racing and fast riding", they added.

"The top tube has been redesigned to improves stiffness at the front end; perfect for thet final sprint to the finish line. And this evolves towards a semi-wishbone rear end, where the rear brake is now mounted to the undersaide of the bottom bracket to help improve looks and aero flow", concluded Redchilli Bikes.

Frameset Details:

• (UAD) Ultra Aero Design: A frameset of varying aerodynamic profiles, each designed and optimised to reduce wind resistance and therefore improve speed
• (FCT) Full Carbon Technology: A blend of Toray T700 and T800 high modulus carbon ensures the frameset is both light yet stiff, with precision handling and supreme levels of comfort
• AirFlow Front Fork: The wider fork opening reduces airflow drag between the fork and the wheel and thus improving speed.
• Direct Mount Brakes: Braking performance is improved by way of direct mount brakes
• High Modulus Carbon Fibre: The ultimate in strength and light weight; high modulus carbon is the basis for the new breed of ultra-lightweight carbon frames
• Marble Effect Carbon: FR1 certainly strikes a pose in the looks department though as you get closer, you will also see the rather lush marble effect within the carbon. Just another little touch that will make you stand out from the crowd
• Di2 Compatible: Use mechanical or electronic gear system. The frame is also supplied with a full "closed" Di2 kit to ensure a smooth appearance
• Tapered Head Tube: With 1-1/8" upper and 1-1/2" lower bearings, tapered head tube designs are stiffer and stronger than conventional inline head tubes. Minimal flex at the front of the frame provides increased steering precision and accuracy
• BB86 Bottom Bracket: BB86 is one of the very latest bottom bracket standards and provides increased stiffness and therefore better power transfer. BB86 frames have a bottom bracket shell width of 86.5mm with an internal diameter of 41mm. All chainsets from Shimano, Campagnolo, SRAM and FSA will fit BB86 with an appropriate bottom bracket
• Internal Cable Routing: Internally routed cables provide a clean, aerodynamic and sleek appearance while tucking cables away from external weather elements and so providing longer cable life expectancy. Added to this, FR1 actually has internal piping thus making inner cable changes fast and easy; so no more hunting around for cable holes
