Marketing Coordinator is responsible for building & maintaining brand awareness for WTB through multiple marketing channels. This will be achieved through social media, athlete sponsorship, events, and tech clinics.
Job responsibilities:
- Development of an integrated event concept for the US market and attend events
- Execute and proactively manage event calendar across the entire US
- Leveraging van life for blog content
- Lead tech clinics and rides at shops and events
- Control and adherence to budget targets and scheduling
- Documentation, follow-up and monitoring of the success of events held
- Responsible for van and all associated event equipment
- Travel all over and ride your bike
- Collaborate with the Global Marketing Manager team to assist in execution, delivery and tracking of seasonal direct to consumer campaigns within America
- Add to Social Media Calendar all events and van life on the road
- Contribute online content calendar to ensure website and social media messaging is consistent with annual and seasonal campaigns
- Collect consumer information
- Assist with athlete and ambassador management
- Reporting and analysis are a huge part of the job and uploading it weekly to brief the team
- Contribute to the development of the marketing plan
- All other Marketing projects as assigned by the Global Marketing Manager
- Some graphics work occasionally
- Responsible to van maintenance
Must have:
- Experience with event management / marketing (1-2 years)
- Technical knowledge of products
- Excellent communicator
- Responsible, structured and team-oriented working methods
- Self sufficient
- Excellent verbal presentation skills and hands-on mentality
- Experiences and passion in the cycling industry
- Positive attitude, self-starter with flexible work style and high motivation
- Detail oriented and very organized
- MS Office proficiency
- High degree of willingness to travel and a valid drivers license
