AURUM Bikes (Spain) - An AURUM icon.

AURUM is proud to announce its first Limited Edition with the very representative finish “ZEVRA”, the one used on the very first prototype that Alberto Contador & Ivan Basso tested on the road.

There will only be 21 units, as an homage to the number of stages that a Grand Tour has.

The color scheme is unique, exclusively designed for the original prototype, with black and white motives that suggest the bike is a real zebra, limited edition numbered badges and the signatures of Alberto Contador and Ivan Basso, the AURUM Founders, on each side of the frame’s top tube. Fine details that make each bicycle unique in the world.

The perfect balance:

The frame is Magma, the AURUM model that combines like no other lightweight, aerodynamics, stiffness and comfort, creating the fastest frame no matter the conditions; on flat surfaces, climbing or descending. The same model that has an frame with an aesthetically astonishing finish.

The build matches the high standards of the frame, with high end components, starting with the Prologo seat (special limited ZEVRA edition), followed by the Lightweight cockpit (Mileinstein Evo wheelset, Bügelhalter stem, Kompaktbügel handlebar and Leistungesträger seatpost) and ending with Shimano Dura-Ace Di2 groupset, with the extra addition of the Ceramicspeed bearings present in the headset, the bottom bracket and in the oversized pulley wheel to make the chain run super smooth.

Assembled in Pinto:

All 21 bikes will be assembled by hand, one by one, methodically in Pinto (Madrid, Spain) the birthplace of Alberto Contador.
