As an innovative, steadily growing brand with a high grade of authenticity, Cologne based bicycle brand BOMBTRACK is searching for a further product manager/developer (m/f) to join the company.
Established in 2011 with lots of pioneering spirit, BOMBTRACK has grown from its origins in Fixed Gear-/Fixed Gear-Freestyle. These roots are still reflected through the brands engagement within the Fixed Gear-Criterium-Scene. Furthermore, the heads behind the brand have steadily aimed to blast conventions and to create novel and innovative bikes. Today, one can find both technically and aesthetically matured CX, road- and all-road-bikes in BOMBTRACK's model range. Within the spheres of bike packing and adventure touring, BOMBTRACK also left remarkable traces and will serve the explorers and escapists on two wheels.
Credibility, passion, non-conformity as well as a high degree of technological and creative competence are shaping BOMBTRACK's brand identity and will lead the brand into the future.
Requirements:
As a product designer / manager (m/f) with experience in the bicycle industry (min. 3 years mandatory) you will be able to hit the ground running and work on new product designs with sketches and CAD drawings. As your design develops your knowledge and experience will allow you to manage the product through to its release onto the market.
This role would suit someone who likes to take ownership of his/her work and is naturally very organized. With so many and products the workflow is varied and fast, so you need to be able to switch between tasks easily. You will work in a close team of graphic and product designers, so a friendly and open personality is a must.
Design Skills:
- Generate original design concepts
- Communicate ideas through quick sketches
- Develop ideas into 3D CAD designs
- An understanding of materials and manufacturing techniques
Management Skills:
- Maintaining a controlled overview of the development of multiple products
- Communicate clearly with manufacturers
- Assess and confirm detail drawings for manufacture
Computer Skills:
- 3D CAD software, ideally Solidworks
- Adobe Photoshop & Illustrator
- Microsoft Office
