Roc d'Azur (France)

Since 1984 and the very first edition, organized by Stéphane Hauvette with 7 competitors, the Roc d’Azur has grown continually and now gathers more than 20,000 participants, 300 exhibitors, and 150,000 visitors over a 5 day period!

Now taking place at the François Léotard Nature Base in Fréjus on paths that are traced in Roquebrune-sur-Argens, it has become the number one mountain bike event in the world and celebrates with the ensemble of cycling and mountain bike universe, starting with thousands of amateur cyclists coming from four corners of France and 50 different countries...

Everyone has his/her own pace!

Professionals, amateurs, novices, adults, children, cross-country cyclists, and endurance cyclists... It doesn't matter how old you are or what your level may be. The Roc d’Azur is open to all, for those who have been passionate for years, as well as last minute newcomers. With a large number of diverse and varied circuits proposed, everyone may find the race or ride for him/her. In 2012, the Roc d’Azur even added a new discipline, the nature triathlon.

In addition to its sports program, each year the Roc d’Azur welcomes the biggest mountain bike fair, free of charge for all, as well as activities and shows honoring the diverse cycling disciplines (dirt, trial, initiations, tests, etc.).
