Wahoo Renews Partnership with Bora - Hansgrohe Cycling Team

Wahoo (United States) - Press Release: We couldn’t be more excited to announce that we’ll be renewing our partnership with the BORA-Hansgrohe cycling team, led by three-time World Champion Peter Sagan and three-time Giro d’Italia stage winner Sam Bennett.

For Wahoo, this renewed partnership furthers our commitment to helping cyclists at the highest level of the sport realize both major and incremental gains. It also means these athletes will be able to access two important elements of Wahoo’s training ecosystem and integrate them into their team’s race-winning strategies: the ELEMNT BOLT, the most aerodynamic, and easiest to use bike computer on the market, and the TICKR Heart Rate Monitor. Both devices will help measure critical race-winning efforts and allow the team to refine their training and racing strategies.

"I’ve really enjoyed using the Wahoo bike computers so far this season," said Peter Sagan.

Since the beginning of our partnership in 2018, BORA-Hansgrohe has already won 12 races, including Sagan’s historic Paris-Roubaix triumph, and three stages of the Giro d’Italia with Irish rider Bennett.

"They’ve been very easy to use, and have helped me focus my training as i prepared for this season, and especially my winning ride at paris-roubaix." - Peter Sagan.

“In our first season in partnership, we’ve seen tremendous results while using the Wahoo ELEMNT BOLT, and have taken advantage of the ease with which it syncs with our Web4Trainer training platform,” said BORA-Hansgrohe Team Manager Ralph Denk. “We’re excited to be continuing this partnership into next season, and working with Wahoo as we continue to fight for top World Tour results and push our athletes to the limits of human performance.”

“It’s been an honor to see our World Tour teams succeed this season while using Wahoo products like ELEMNT BOLT, KICKR, and TICKR,” said Wahoo CEO Chip Hawkins. “At the top levels of cycling, every small gain can pay off with big results, and we’re grateful to be part of the winning formula for teams like BORA-hansgrohe and Team Sky. After all the success we’ve seen in 2018, it’s exciting to carry our partnership forward into 2019.”
