We took these words to heart with the creation of the new Strada USH WC gravel tire.

Meticulously crafted in Europe, the Strada USH WC is made of the best materials with uncompromising care and attention to detail, resulting in unparalleled ride quality, comfort and control. The inverted gaps in the center section offer incredible traction while the side sawtooth herringbone pattern inspires confidence in the corners. Like all of Donnelly WC tires, this one features a 240 TPI nylon casing for a supple feel, while protective layers along the tread and sidewalls help deflect the sharp stuff when things get dicey.

The original Strada USH was released in 2017 and became the immediate favorite for many of the professional riders we’ve supported. In fact, every year it has been the tire of choice for our riders competing in toughest gravel events. “The Strada USH has always been the go-to tire for all the pros,” said Donnelly Product Manager James Sullivan. “Whether it was Crusher in the Tushar, the Belgian Waffle Ride or Dirty Kanza when the riders wanted speed, comfort and confidence this was the tire.

The MSO gets most of the attention in our gravel tire line-up, but I think you’ll see more riders giving this Strada USH WC a go.” says Donnelly Founder Donn Kellogg. “With its large volume and superior construction this 700x40 version can handle nearly any terrain, yet rolls incredibly fast on the smooth stuff you find in-between the rowdiness.”

Like all Donnelly tires that earn the WC moniker, this Strada USH Donnelly is produced with the same Czechoslovakian manufacturer of their World Cup level cyclocross tires. “The tires we produce together never cease to amaze me. The attention to detail is unwavering and the end product reflects that,” states Kellogg.

The new Strada USH WC 700x40 is available now on-line and at select retailers. While the WC will always be made in Europe, Donnelly plans to release non-WC in various options in the coming months.
