Olympia (Italy) - E1-X Carbon 8.0.

The latest generation E1-X is an extremely versatile e-mtb, equipped to make the most of trail and off-road routes. The model E1-X Carbon 8.0 is available from Olympia in a lighter and handier version, with adjusted geometries and a shorter wheelbase to increase comfort and stability.

Clean lines and minimal protrusions are the hallmarks of an essential design - indicating a strong personality.

The frame is a carbon fibre unidirectional Toray T800 monocoque unit, lighter by 400 grams than the original version.

The seat tube angle has been increased to 75°, to obtain a more verticalized structure.

The top tube has been shortened (590 mm for the size M). The steering tilted to 66° and lowered (110 mm) ensures a comfortable, easy to handle E1-X Carbon 8.0.

The rear stay, shorter by 5 mm, improves design compactness. The shorter wheelbase of this e-mtb makes it responsive and stable during uphill riding and easier to control when routes require maximum riding precision.

The steering has been strengthened and slightly squeezed into the signature O-for-Olympia shaped recess, in which the integrated cable harness is contained. The cable outputs are accurately positioned along the sliding lines.

The rear shock absorber with its 140 mm travel applied to the top tube ensures linear smooth riding, effectively absorbing medium-strength stress. The front shock absorber travel is 150 mm.

The motor drive selected by Olympia for this model is Shimano Steps 8,000, which delivers 250 W and can be managed via an app. It is one of the lightest and most powerful power units on the market, able to provide smooth delivery, which adapts intuitively to the characteristics of even the most challenging routes. The motor is powered by a long range battery, with a capacity of 630 Wh. The motor and battery are seamlessly integrated in the shape of the bike.

The bottle cage can be mounted on the inclined tube of the frame.

E1-X Carbon 8.0 is available in sizes S, M and L and two colour patterns: Carbon/Silver and Carbon/Orange.
