Scope to Offer O2D Wheelset with Shimano Micro Spline

Scope Cycling (Netherlands) - Press Release: Wheelset and separate freehub option available from January 2020.

We have received numerous requests over the last few months, in which customers asked us for a Shimano Micro Spline version for our O2D wheelset. So we took to the drawing board and developed a version that features the same proven pawl system as all our other O2D specific freehubs.

While developing the Shimano Micro Spline freehub we also looked for ways to optimize its durability and longevity. The solution: we use bigger bearings in the freehub in combination with a specific axle.

From January 2020 onwards you’ll be able to order all models of the O2D wheelset with the Shimano Micro Spline freehub from our website or via your trusted Scope Dealer. Should you already have an O2D wheelset but wish to upgrade to Shimano Micro Spline, then you’ll be able to order the freehub as a separate set. In this case, the price will be EUR 69,00.
