Saracen (United Kingdom) - Press Release: Our New Look for 2020.

While nothing is normal about the current situation we are all in, we still wanted to share with you our new look Saracen bikes and Madison Clothing kit for this season - this year however, our launch video comes with a very serious message to please stay at home.

By 8th April, we had hoped to have one world cup and a number of other races under our belts but instead we are - like so many others - restricted to indoor training, a short (and safe) spin outside and watching re-runs of Snowshoe 2019!

That doesn't mean however that we can't show you our brand new Saracen Myst and fresh threads from Madison Clothing.

Team Manager, Will Longden, said: “While this isn’t where we thought we’d all be right now, we wanted to show you guys our new-look bike and kit, while reminding everyone that we have a responsibility to stay home and stay safe. We hope you like the video, the bike and the kit and we can’t wait to get back to racing when this is all over.”

The new-look Saracen Myst uses the same chassis as last year with a 24T/40T/3K Toray UD carbon fibre frame running a Shimano Saint drivetrain and rolling on DT Swiss wheels. But the main change is the colourway, with red and black being the livery of choice for 2020.

It is running the brand-new Fox 40 fork and DHX2 shock. The 203mm travel Fox 40 has an updated GRIP2 damper and EVOL air spring on top of an all-new lower leg arch, and promises to be the ultimate in downhill fork tech.
