Wilier Triestina (Italy) - The all-new Rave SLR has been awarded with the Design & Innovation Award 2022 for the gravel category.

Jury statement:

"With the versatile Rave SLR, Wilier Triestina pursue a 2-in-1 approach that expands horizons. The basis for this is a carbon frame that combines modern race geometry with generous tire clearances and a low weight.

This allows the bike to fly across asphalt roads in its all-road trim i.e. with narrower road tires, or whip across gravel tracks as a fast gravel racer with tires up to 700 x 42C wide. At 7.3 kg for the all-road version, it’s light for its class.

Both builds have a performance-oriented position that integrates the rider with the bike, perfect for chasing personal bests.

The distinctive one-piece, J-Bar cockpit not only offers improved aerodynamics but also offers flawless cable integration, underlining the unique look.

The jury came to a clear verdict: the Wilier Triestina Rave SLR is made for covering ground and doing so at a rapid pace, whether you’re on- or off-road."
