Polygon's New Siskiu T Full Suspension Trail Bike

Polygon's New Siskiu T Full Suspension Trail Bike
Polygon (Indonesia) – "The new Siskiu T series was created for riders looking for a full suspension trail mountain bike ready to hit single-tracks, steep descents and your local trails. An agile and fun bike that is capable of technical climbing and intricate, rocky descents on all day epic adventure riding. All models of Siskiu T adopt a new “boost” standard and follow the Polygon Wheel Fit Size System whereby each frame size is paired with a wheel size that perfectly fits the rider for better efficiency and optimal riding experience. The Polygon Siskiu T will exceed all your expectations", explained Polygon about their new Siskiu T Full Suspension Trail Bikes.

Faux Bar:

"Polygon's Faux Bar suspension system on the Siskiu T was created to give you a bomb-proof design that will require a lot less servicing and maintenance, thus allowing you spend more time on the saddle. Faux Bar bikes are built with a longer rear shock stroke that allows for more progressive bump reading, allowing the bike to track the trail better and give you a smoother ride when it gets rough", added the company.

150/140mm Travel:

"Featuring a 140mm (29ers)/150mm (27.5") travel suspension fork with a one-piece linkage to boost the optimization of the suspension, increases stiffness, and decreases weight for greater control while descending rough terrain at high speeds, climbing hills comfortably, and easily cruising over bumpy trails", continues the company.

Tapered Headtube:

According to Polygon, "a Tapered Headtube allows for a broader contact area between the frame and fork, greatly improving bike handling and front wheel stiffness, important when you're railing berms at high speed. Using an oversize headtube, designers were able to optimize welding points between the downtube, toptube and headtube to create an unyielding front end".

Boost System:

The Hub Boost System allows for wider flanges and stronger spoke tensions to be used, adding lateral stiffness to the rim and improving bike handling.

One By System:

The Polygon Siskiu T bikes feature a One By system, with a single chainring at the front and either 10 Speed (T7) or 11 Speed (T8) at the back. Combining a 32T Narrow Wide chainring with big cassette sprockets at the back. To eliminate chain slap, the Siskiu T range utilizes a Shimano XT Clutch Rear Derailleur, further improving drivetrain performance.

Wheel Fit Size System:

"The Polygon Wheel Fit Size System assures each frame size is paired with a wheel size that perfectly fits the rider's height for better efficiency and optimal riding experience. This allowed us to concentrate on what the bike should feel like on the trails, guaranteeing a consistent riding experience for all riders. Small and Medium frames are paired with 27.5” wheels, whilst Medium, Large and XL frames use 29" wheels. The Entity XL2 rims are ready to be converted into tubeless, enhancing grip and comfort when running low pressures on rougher trails", concluded the company.
