Existing products are refined continuously and new products are being developed for different user groups and areas of application. The result of the latest partnership is the new H3 HYBRID hub, which was developed in cooperation with DT SWISS.

The new generation of hubs goes by the name H3 HYBRID. They were developed in cooperation with the hub and wheel specialists from DT Swiss. The H3R is a single-speed hub optimized for Pinion gearboxes and is built around the proven RATCHET® freewheel system. Due to the HYBRID technology it is specifically designed for high-load applications. It is equipped with the new HYBRID steel freehub body and feature a reinforced axle and hub body. Pinion hubs are characterized by symmetrical, flat spoke angles and are specially designed for the use of Longlife chains or Gates® belt drives. The H3 HYBRID hubs stand for proven DT Swiss technology and straightforward functionality with low care and maintenance required. They round off Pinions portfolio of products for heavy-duty use under hardest circumstances.

The previous Pinion hubs with the designation H2 will remain in use. They are characterized by quiet, smooth running and a particularly high number of engagement-points. For individualists, the Pinion H2 hubs are available in silver, blue and red in addition to the standard colour black.

The new H3 HYBRID hubs are available from Pinion and are expected to be in stock as of August 2020.
For the hub set (front wheel hub H3F and rear wheel hub H3R), Pinion is calling for a RRP of 399.00 euros. The rear hub H3R is also available separately and costs 319.00 euros.
