Crafty is our most popular e-MTB and this latest 2019 model feature exclusive Stealth Alloy frames with revised and improved Zero Suspension and Forward Geometry. Its cutting-edge and sleek design perfectly matches bigger wheels and its advanced e-MTB concept.

Powered by Bosch:

Crafty range feature the leading-edge technology from the German manufacturer Bosch, featuring the best performing motor in the e-MTB segment -Performance CX- with discreetly integrated and removable 500Wh Powertube batteries hidden inside the main tube.

e-MTB 27’5” Plus:

Bigger wheels are also a reality in the most aggressive MTB segment and electric bicycles are no exception. Crafty R and RR spec e-MTB specific DT-Swiss Hybrid wheels capable of withstand more than 150 kilos of System Weight (weight of the bicycle + weight of the biker with equipment combined) with 35mm internal width rims with Maxxis Minion DHF 2.8" front and High Roller 2.8” rear tires: the best choice focused on achieving the best performance, confidence inspiring and maximum grip on a bike of its kind.

Forward Geometry with shorter fork offsets:

Special mention -as its importance requires being common feature and evolution in all our 2019 Forward Geometry models-, Crafty RR and R feature short 44mm offset forks which perfectly match Forward Geometry with clear performance gains: increased stability at speed, better front wheel control and dramatically improved front tire grip. Shorter fork offsets have its biggest and superior benefits in combination with our genuine and distinctive Forward Geometry concept with its super responsive and direct steering featuring FG30mm stem and long reach. The increase in trail boosts steering stability with a 65,3º standard head angle with 160mm forks.

The result? Shorter offsets combined with Forward Geometry translates into a more playful ride, the feeling that you can attack harder in corners with extra confidence and added grip as a bonus, and a more enjoyable and faster ride overall.

One of the most remarkable features making the most difference in the excellent performance when riding any Mondraker full suspension model is due to its Zero suspension system which, in this model for 2019, has increased its rear wheel travel to 150mm. On both Crafty models we find a metric sized Fox DPX2 LV EVOL Performance 205x65mm shock with Trunnion upper mount and large bearings located at the main aluminium one piece Monoblock link offering exquisite sensibility and impressive big bump absorption for the plusher ride.

HHG Internal cable routing: Hidden Housing Guide:

Both Craftys benefit from our HHG technology with internal guide for the rear derailleur cable, rear brake line and internally routed dropper on all models. HHG features some external stops to attach the cables, avoiding any possible noise whilst preserving the most sleek and as clean as possible design.

Boost 148x12 y 110x15 mm:

Just like all e-MTB Mondraker models in our line, new Craftys feature Boost hubs with 110x15 mm front and 148x12 mm rear spacing.

Oversized pivot thru-axles and bearings:

Same as all our others e-MTB full suspension Mondraker models, Craftys benefit from bigger diameter thru axles (15 mm) as well as featuring oversized bearings, increasing lifespan and reliability, able to withstand higher loads and a more demanding ride.

Tapered headset / Post-mount rear brake:

Crafty models feature tapered 1-1/8” upper and 1-1/2” lower headtube. Rear brake is post-mount with the caliper located between seatstays and chainstays- improving brake efficiency and minimizing vibrations.
