Kenda Tires (Taiwan) – “Over a decade after its original release, the Nevegal gets a complete makeover that leaves no aspect of the tire unchanged”, shared Kenda.

The tread pattern was updated for less rolling resistance and now comes with the new EN-DTC compound. The casing benefits from the latest of material technology featuring the Advanced Trail Casing optimized for enduro.

“Enduro or aggressive trail riders will appreciate the tire’s beefy tread pattern and casing that was specifically designed around the rigors of endure”, added the company.



Optimized for enduro and trail riding, the Advanced Trail Casing (ATC) uses a layer of SCT on the sidewalls and a K-Armor belt under the tread area.

“K-Armor is a proprietary casing material technology developed by Kenda for superior puncture protection and rolling resistance. The super lightweight material allows for a tighter weave and the use of less rubber, resulting in a lighter tire and a casing that is supple enough to allow the knobs to flex and form under load, yet still protects from pinch flats or casing tears”, they continued.

Kenda Sidewall Casing Technology is the optimization of existing Kenda tire construction technologies. Allowing for a tire to maximize the benefits of fluid based sealants while also increasing the strength of sidewalls for resistance to slices and abrasion.

Next generation dual rubber compound:
“Designed around the rigors of enduro racing. Featuring a lower rolling resistance value than previous dual tread compounds, tires with EN-DTC show less wear than other similar tires. With shore A values lower than the original DTC, the EN-DTC provides a more responsive ride, letting the knobs do the work of control and braking on the ground”, concluded Kenda.
