Transition Bikes (United States) - The Outpost Sales Lead oversees daily operations for the entire Sales Department, allocating tasks, assisting in sales, and managing expectations of our customers and our sales team. Candidates for the Lead of the Outpost Sales Department will possess excellent interpersonal skills, Communication and follow through, and a drive for community involvement and event promotion.
Job Duties:
- Manage sales and communications with local and visiting customers
- Manage all open sales, assuring quick turnaround
- Oversee the Demo Program, work Service Lead to assure the program is an industry leader
- Work with Outpost Leadership to schedule and facilitate events
- Work with Outpost leadership on merchandising and product ordering for the sales floor
- Oversee Opening and Closing duties
- Manage daily tasks, allocating responsibilities to sales staff
Requirements and Qualifications:
- 5+ years experience in the bike industry with an emphasis on sales and customer service
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work weekends
- Passion for bikes and positive, collaborative attitude that puts the team and other riders first.
- Strong self-motivation and resourcefulness
- Excellent attention to detail
- Motivation to provide an exceptional customer service and experience to our customers
- Team player with a positive, supportive attitude
- Must have, or be qualified to get, a valid M.A.S.T permit to serve Alcohol
- Must live in, or be willing to relocate to, Bellingham, WA.
