Otso Cycles (United States) - Otso Cycles makes versatile, performance-first bikes inspired by the Northwoods of Minnesota. All Otso bikes are equipped with an adjustable wheelbase via a patented Tuning Chip rear dropout system, have extra tire clearance, and are designed with an inspired geometry based on all-day comfort and confidence. Otso’s bikes are used by racers, bikepackers, and everyone in between. The current bike lineup includes a fat bike that doubles as a hardtail and a host of gravel bikes that blur the lines between all-road and adventure. Otso Sales Representative:

We are looking to add a Sales Representative to our small inside sales team, and are seeking out a driven, well-spoken individual with a passion for bicycles to join us at our headquarters in Burnsville, MN. This is not a remote position.

Specific job responsibilities will include:

• Independently manage assigned dealer accounts within the guidelines of the Otso sales goals, including collecting their orders, talking them through bike builds, educating them on new product and current sales programs, and keeping them up to date with sales and marketing materials
• Assist with executing the strategic sales plan to expand Otso’s customer base including communicating with dealers, distributors, and expanding online sales
• Assist with answering customer service calls and emails from both dealers and direct consumers
• Share travel for events, trade shows, dealer visits, and bicycle demos - up to ten days per month (but will often be closer to three days per month), primarily driving with some air travel
• Educate dealers and consumers on the Otso Cycles product line, including technical information and features
• Provide clear direction, feedback, and ideas to the team to help drive day to day and long term growth
• Assist in providing direction for product development and build spec based on input from customers

Required qualifications:

• 3+ years customer service or sales experience
• Basic understanding of general sales and marketing principles
• Expert communication (written and verbal) skills, ability to tailor communications to fit various audiences and technical levels 
• Ability to work on a small team in a dynamic setting
• An attention to detail
• Excellent problem solving and relationship management skills
• Basic understanding of cycling culture
• Driver’s license and clean driving record
• Willingness to learn and adapt to a quickly growing and changing work environment

Preferred qualifications:

• Cycling or outdoor industry experience
• Deep knowledge of bicycle technologies, past, current, and emerging
• Experience with basic bicycle maintenance
• Experience with Google Drive and Google Docs
• Experience with Shopify and connected apps
• Experience with Microsoft Excel
