Hunt Bike Wheels (United Kingdom) - The Rider Firm has a vacancy for an Order Processing team member. Working full or part time starting with remote working but may need to include some days in our West Sussex HQ in the future. You will be responsible for processing our customer orders including presales and inputting purchase orders, working across the team and with customers and suppliers.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Processing presale orders for customers who have pre ordered products from us.
• Ensuring sales statuses are kept up to date to prevent overselling stock.
• Maintenance of sales statuses to ensure the status system is efficient and correct.
• Checking sale reports to ensure orders are going into the correct status.
• Communicating with customers to inform them of their order status.
• Processing new orders to enable them to be picked and despatched..
• Processing purchase orders to help keep stock levels accurate.
• Processing supplier bills and maintaining the “payments due to be made” spreadsheet to ensure all suppliers are paid within their individual terms.

Person Specification:

• Someone with strong attention to detail and good numerical skills
• Be ready to work together across our whole Rider Firm team – helping each other out is essential!
• Someone who will work within The Rider Firm Values.
• Experience of systematic order processing preferred but a good understanding of computer processing essential.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.

Working hours and location:

• During the current covid-19 pandemic this role will be working from home. In future it will primarily be an office based role.
• This advertised job is for a part time or full time position. Minimum of 20 hours and a max of 38.75 hours per week.
