E-commerce Marketing Assistant:

Roles & Responsibilities:

• A great opportunity to start or develop your career in a fast paced, dynamic e-commerce environment.
• Managing and designing several websites.
• Driving website usability and ‘being’ the customer to help make industry leading e-commerce stores.
• Opportunity to project manage the development of innovative new websites.
• Creating and editing website pages and blog posts for maximum impact.
• Taking on worldwide digital marketing projects and product launches.
• Working with a small committed team to look after riders.
• Communicating with customers in a polite and understanding way.
• There may be the opportunity to attend bike industry trade shows and exhibitions to represent The Rider Firm and all our brands.
• The opportunity to put-forward any improvements to our service, systems and products that will benefit riders.

You are most likely to succeed if you have:

• Experience or qualification in psychology or website UX (usability).
• A strong sense of how to layout e-commerce websites to achieve positive customer results.
• Good written and verbal communication.
• Confidence in managing emails and projects with various deadlines.
• A positive, friendly can-do attitude, as customers will need this support.
• The ability to fit well into our group at The Rider Firm. Working together and helping each other out is essential.
• The successful candidate will almost certainly be a bike rider as it will significantly help you to understand how best to serve our customers.
• Your application is highly likely to be successful if you have several of the following, but they are not essential:
  • Some knowledge of HTML markup language &/or CSS style sheet language or a desire to learn.
  • Knowledge of Javascript programming language or experience with Shopify is a bonus but not essential.
  • A foreign language will always be helpful to your application, especially German, also French, Spanish, Mandarin, or any other European language.

Working hours and location:

• The role is primarily based in our office in Partridge Green, West Sussex.
• Working from home on some days is also possible within this job roll.
• This advertised job is for a part time or full time position. Minimum of 20 hours and up to full time (38.75 hours per week).
