Norco Bicycles (Canada) - Press Release: Big rides take you to all kinds of places, on all kinds of roads, through all kinds of conditions – the riding that inspired us to create the Norco Section. This bike is built to own the asphalt and attack unpaved surfaces.

For the Section, we used our decades of design experience to craft a frame that is the perfect balance of pure performance and all-day capabilities. Because we know every rider’s definition of the perfect bike includes a frame material preference, we offer the Section in high-modulus carbon fibre, Reynolds 725 steel, and X6 aluminum. An oversized head tube, down tube and chainstays combined with 12mm front and rear thru-axles ensure maximum power transfer and precise cornering. The Section’s curved, bridgeless seatstays have a narrow profile to increase vertical compliance to soak up road chatter and reduce rider fatigue on those epic, all-day rides.

We equipped every Section with reliable flat mount disc brakes for a clean and uncluttered look, ample clearance to accept 35mm tires, and low-key fender mounts. The big tires provide a larger contact patch, resulting in better control and braking. The extra volume rolls through bumps instead of bouncing off of them – which means more of your effort transfers into speed, no matter what the conditions.

When the pavement ends and your legs and curiosity say the ride isn’t finished yet, the Section keeps you moving!
