Ibis Debuts New Carbon S-Wheels

Ibis Cycles (United States) - Press Release: Ibis unveils new carbon S-wheels.

Do you struggle to get fresh tires mounted? Do you hate burping? Do you have issues keeping your wheels in the shape of a circle? Get the new Ibis S-Wheels!

Our rims are already known as some of the lightest and toughest on the market, but we wanted to make them even better, To do that we've partnered with Stan's NoTubes to utilize their patented BST design, which reduces the height of the bead wall. The resulting rims are more impact resistant, more vertically complaint, and lighter.

Two versions:

Our new wheels are available in two different versions: the S28 and S35. The S28 has a 28mm (technically 28.6mm) internal rim width, while the S35 has a 35mm internal rim width. Both rims are available in 27.5" and 29" sizes.

The S35 wheels are shipping now. S28 wheels will ship later this summer. Both rims and wheels will be available aftermarket later this year. Rims retail for $525, with carbon wheelsets starting at $1,299.
