When Steve Hed started designing all-road wheels, like the HED Ardennes, a decade ago, his primary goal was to enable cyclists to ride with confidence and a sense of inspiration. He wanted cyclists to "look up". He wanted cyclists to be able to ride faster, sure, but he also wanted them to experience the beauty of gravel riding.

With the Emporia GC3 Performance, the team at HED Cycling has designed a wheel in that spirit, a wheel that is top-performing but, more than anything, encourages cyclists to ride, to explore, to look up.
