Fenix SLX Disc - The New Road Bike from Ridley
Ridley Bikes (Belgium) – Ridley Bikes launches the Fenix SLX Disc.

“Ridley is dedicated to offer the best performance products in the industry and with the Fenix SLX we prove once again we are able to deliver something truly special”, explains Jochim Aerts, Ridley CEO The Fenix is the marque Ridley frame platform originating back from 2010.

Ridden to countless pro peloton victories by the likes of Cadel Evans, André Greipel and winning the Junior World Championship in Doha, 2016. The Fenix SLX is suitable for all types of terrain and capable of managing every on-road surface. Designed in Belgium the Fenix family has been the most successful all-day racing platform for Ridley through the Spring Classics ridden by Lotto Soudal.

“We have worked extensively with our material engineers to create a carbon fiber layup that brings the weight of the already light Fenix SL down to sub 850 grams for a painted Fenix SLX”, explains Morten Kristiansen, Head of Product & Marketing.

The bike feature the iconic Ridley diamond shaped down tube and top tube. Head tube and BB stiffness is increased 5% from the Fenix SL. “By lowering the seat stays we also ensured the bike has a perfect blend of all day endurance capabilities and the power transfer characteristics our athletes have come to expect from the Fenix. Combine that with an industry leading 30-mm tire clearance and disc brakes and the Fenix will be a true modern all-round race bike” continues Kristiansen.

Fenix SLX is available at authorized Ridley retailers around the world from September in complete bike builds as well as frame-fork sets and Ridley Customizer options.
