In 2016, 60,000 visitors, 11,000 bike tests inside the show, 445 exhibitors from 24 countries, 300 accredited journalists. A unique event which, once again in 2017, will contribute to disseminating bike culture. On display, all the latest racing, mtb and gravel bike models as well as biking world accessories and clothing. Ample space for E.bikes, the latest craze, and even more test tracks for everyone.

Verona 6th March 2017. From professional traders to 40 top foreign buyers from 18 different countries, from professional cyclists to bike tourists, CosmoBike Show 2016 was attended by a qualified and high level public both in the business and consumer segments, positioning itself, right from its very first edition, among Europe's leading events for the bicycle sector. The numbers speak for themselves: 60,000 visitors (+20% compared to the previous edition), press reviews in all the top traditional and on-line papers as well as television reports on all the main national networks, from tg1 to tg5, as well as sector Internet TV channels, over 300 accredited journalists and media operators, 35,600 followers on the social networks and more than 52,000 video viewings of the show on YouTube.

Veronafiera's recent transformation into an SpA joint stock company also opens new and important development opportunities for the cycling sector: “Becoming an SpA provides Veronafiere with the tools to compete on the international market with the same juridical capacity as other Italian and European trade show organizers. The transformation is linked to a development plan that will be ongoing until 2020 and which foresees investments of 94 million Euros to further improve the trade show centre's infrastructure and services, starting with digital transformation and the creation of 3,000 parking spaces. A substantial part of the industrial plan aims at developing our directly organized trade shows, which are not only the most important in Italy but also among leading events in Europe” as Giovanni Mantovani, General Manager of Veronafiere Spa, points out.

The key words at the next edition of CosmoBike 2017, scheduled to take place from 15th to 18th September at Veronafiere, are innovation, technology and sustainability as well as tradition and safety. The bicycle will therefore be celebrated in all its aspects for the third year running. The bicycle "cosmos" is not only for sector traders but also for all bike enthusiasts. An event where everyone can find out all they need to know about the 2018 models, touch them and try them out in specific outdoor areas. Over the four days of the last edition, there were 11,000 bike tests. You need to pedal in order to try out, discover, learn and experience the concentrated technology, innovation and design that the bicycle englobes! And CosmoBike Show 2017 will provide even more thrilling testing tracks and routes with several levels of difficulty.

2017 will see further enhancement of the great E-bike phenomenon and this new generation of models is given ample space at CosmoBike Show. Besides all the latest in terms of accessories and new clothing collections, all the newest racing, mtb and gravel bike models will be on display because the "muscular" bike is always at the heart of this show.

The aim of the Verona Show is not only to promote the day to day use of a bicycle but also cycling for tourism: in fact, CosmoBike Tourism, offers a vast range of opportunities, solutions and services for cycling holidays.

Another feature of this edition will be CosmoBike Legend, which celebrates the history of the bicycle. In this specifically themed area, visitors will be able to admire the most famous models, together with the clothing, accessories and everything that dictated bike-riding styles in the past.
