Ciamillo (Poland) - Stiffer and lighter than ever, designed for wider rims and larger tires. Currently, the world's lightest caliper road brake. Ciamillo offers the ultimate stoppers at only 129 grams per set... (68 grams front/ 61 grams rear) and loads of power.
The Lekki8 architecture optimizes the advantages of carbon fiber, 7075 aluminum and grade 5 titanium for a supremely lightweight road brake. It features a leveraging mechanism that allows for smooth operation and accommodation of the largest rims for road bicycles.
As of July-2018, Lekki8s are the lightest road bike calipers in the world.
Experience in Design:
Almost two decades of super-lightweight brake design without compromise has led Ciamillo down the path toward the new Lekki8. Lekki is Polish for light weight and this newest model represents the 8th model of lightweight road calipers designed by Ted Ciamillo.
Calipers are made from Grade 5 titanium, 7075 aluminum, and carbon fiber. These material optimized parts in the new Lekki8 allow not only the lightest road caliper ever made but also the smallest. The compact architecture provides an inherent stoutness and rigidity as well as improved aerodynamics. Clearance under the arms allows for generous clearance for large tires.
