Argon 18 on board as New Partner of BEAT Cycling Club
BEAT Cycling Club (Netherlands) – Beginning this season, BEAT Cycling Club will collaborate with the Canadian cycling brand Argon 18. The BEAT road team, which will race at the UCI Continental level this year, will ride on the Gallium and Gallium Pro road bikes and the E-117 time trial bikes. Members of BEAT can also take advantage of the partnership, via various discounts on the entire product range and the activities that the club will organize together with the cycling brand.

Argon 18 is known as a high-end cycling brand and has been active at the highest level in cycling for several years now. The brand debuted in the Tour de France with team Bora – Argon 18 in 2015. Since 2017, Argon 18 has been a partner of Astana Pro Team, and multiple WorldTour victories have been achieved with the Argon 18 Gallium Pro. The brand also produces bikes for track cycling and triathlon and has responded to the growing demand for bicycles with disc brakes.

BEAT Cycling Club is enthusiastic about the partnership. Co-founder Geert Broekhuizen said: “We are pleased that a highly regarded brand like Argon 18 has confidence in our unique club structure and wants to grow with us. In our search for the right partner, it has been very important that we be able to submit a strong offer to our members. It soon became apparent that we could achieve this in close cooperation with Argon 18, Guru Sport and the Argon 18 dealers.”

Kelly Reed, international marketing director at Argon 18, is looking forward to the collaboration: "We are excited to partner our brand with the new and evolving concept BEAT Cycling Club. Our passion for cycling is in our history and we look to bring the joy of riding to a variety of levels of cyclists through this unique cycling team and club combination.”

Guru Sport, the distributor of Argon 18 in the Benelux, is taking a pioneering role in this partnership. Bart Blockmans, Brand Manager of Argon 18 at Guru Sport, said: “We are very pleased to start the collaboration with BEAT Cycling Club. Their innovative vision on organizing a professional cycling team and engaging the cycling enthusiast is unique in the world of cycling. This fits to a sophisticated brand like Argon 18. We are convinced that both the professional riders as the club members will enjoy their Argon 18 bikes.”

BEAT Cycling Club and Argon 18 will finalize the details of the exclusive offer to members and BEAT members will be the first to be able to take advantage of the partnership’s benefits.
