We created the new Ventum Z based on feedback from triathletes who told us that they want access to the technology we developed for our flagship triathlon racing bike, the Ventum One, but with more flexibility to customize the bicycle to fit their needs.
The new Ventum Z is based on our non-traditional, Z-shaped frame design. Our patented frame design maximizes aerodynamic performance, by eliminating the downtube and seat stays, while integrating a water bottle into the top tube of the frame. Like the Ventum One, the Ventum Z features a one-piece “monocoque”, all carbon-fiber frame. It’s lightweight, incredibly stiff, and a joy to ride — and of course, extremely fast.
The new Ventum Z also includes our brand new, all carbon-fiber Z fork which we developed specifically for this bike, an aerodynamic, carbon-fiber seatpost, and our integrated hydration system. The Ventum hydration system is available in your choice of eight colors, and includes a 1.4-liter water bottle (1.2-liter for 46 cm frames), drinking straw, bite valve, and magnet kit for positioning the straw on your extension bars. The water bottle is dishwasher-safe and BPA-free.
All of this is included in the new Ventum Z frameset, which is available for purchase now for $2,850.
Ventum Z Complete Bikes:
The new Ventum Z is also available as a complete bike with your choice of a Shimano mechanical groupset (with Ultegra derailleurs and Dura Ace bar-end shifters) or Shimano’s latest Ultegra Di2 groupset for smooth, electronic shifting. The included 3T Vola aero bars are made of lightweight, hydroformed aluminum for maximum comfort, easy positioning, and customization. Complete your Ventum Z with Edco carbon-fiber race wheels or a Vision all-alloy wheelset.
