Ribble Pro Cycling (UK) – Press Release: Santini and Ribble Pro Cycling are pleased to announce an exclusive race clothing partnership for 2018.
From inception to creation, all Santini garments supplied to Ribble Pro Cycling are ‘100% made in Italy’ at the company’s Bergamo headquarters. Jon Sangan, Santini Custom Manager, ZyroFisher commented, “We have a long standing relationship with Jack Rees and Ribble Pro Cycling so we are naturally excited to feature our Santini custom products on the UK’s #1 domestic team.”
Jack Rees, Ribble Pro Cycling added, “We are delighted to continue our relationship with Santini and Santini custom into 2018. This year’s design is the most advanced so far and paired with the new Vanquish helmet from Giro and the custom painted bikes from Ribble, I believe we have not only the best but the most striking equipment in the UK domestic peloton.”
A key garment for the team is the custom, aerodynamically-cut Sleek 99 jersey which is also worn by UCI World Tour team Trek Segafredo. The Sleek 99, which is also available in three different colours from Santini retailers from March (SRP £84.99), features extremely light but hardwearing fabric that weighs just 90g per meter. The front is made from Rudy, an exceptionally breathable perforated fabric and the sleek aerodynamic fit extends to the longer Bodyfit sleeves, providing the ultimate aerodynamic advantage.
Ribble Pro Cycling’s race kit is designed to catch the eye and features Ribble’s signature colours of slate blue and grey while the distinctive dazzle camo swirl pattern on the sleeve adds a splash of flair and panache.
Watch this space for the new team skinsuit which is currently under wraps and will be launched in the coming weeks.
